Your Right to Delete Your Data
At University Transport App, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
What Data Will Be Deleted
When you request data deletion, the following information will be permanently removed from our systems:
- Your account information (name, email, phone number, password)
- Profile details (profile picture, address, department info, CNIC)
- All booking history and records
- Payment information and invoice records
- Chatbot conversation history
- Notification preferences and history
- Any uploaded images or documents
- All app preferences and settings
What Data May Be Retained
Certain data may be retained for legitimate business or legal purposes:
- Anonymized transaction records (for accounting/legal compliance)
- Data required by law or regulatory requirements
- Aggregated, anonymized analytics data (cannot identify you)
Any retained data will be fully anonymized and cannot be traced back to you.
How to Request Data Deletion
Method 1: In-App Request
- Open the University Transport App
- Go to Profile → Settings
- Select "Delete My Account"
- Confirm your request
- Your account will be scheduled for deletion
Method 2: Email Request
Send an email to:
Include the following information:
- Subject: "Data Deletion Request"
- Your registered email address
- Your full name (as registered)
- Reason for deletion (optional)
Processing Time
You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been fully deleted.
Important Notes
- Data deletion is permanent and irreversible
- Any active bookings will be automatically cancelled
- Outstanding payments must be settled before deletion
- You can create a new account after deletion, but previous data cannot be recovered
- Pending refunds will still be processed to your original payment method
